TÜV Deutsch adopts quality, environmental, health and safety and information security management systems aimed at all levels of the organization, in order to ensure that the relevant issues are addressed in an appropriate manner and in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
TÜV Deutsch considers the quality management aimed at improving performance, the environmental protection, the health and safety of its workers and the security of information as priority factors for the achievement of corporate objectives and establishes the following Policy for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security, appropriate to the nature of the processes found in TÜV and to the relevance of the risks related to the activities carried out.
In particular, it identifies the following priority issues:
commitment to the compliance with requirements of the relevant technical standards and
other reference documents applicable to conformity assessment as well as legislative and
regulatory requirements concerning quality, environment, occupational health and safety,
commitment to the integrity of the management systems for quality, environment, occupational
health and safety and information security when changes are planned;
commitment to continual improvement of the management systems for quality, environment,
occupational health and safety and information security and of the organization's performance
with regard to the related issues;
implementation of a suitable organizational structure for the establishment and periodical
review of objectives in terms of quality, environment, occupational health and safety,
information security, with a view to continual improvement;
monitoring of business processes, in order to evaluate performance and identify actions for
improvement of effectiveness and efficiency;
ongoing assessment of the risks and opportunities related to the business activities - in the field of
quality, environment, occupational health and safety, information security - in order to take the
promotion of professional growth and awareness of its staff, through planning and
implementation of appropriate information, education and training programs on issues related to quality, environment, occupational health and safety, information security, ensuring availability and knowledge of the implemented procedures;
employment of suppliers and external personnel only if qualified to perform assigned tasks in accordance with contractual agreements and standards concerning quality, environment, occupational health and safety, information security;
involvement of identified interested parties - public institutions, scientific and cultural
associations, clients, suppliers, contractors, employees, external personnel – in relation to the context of the organization, to the programs and performance in terms of quality, environment, occupational health and safety, information security;
care to customer needs, current and future, aiming to meet its requirements and to exceed its expectations, to pursue the strategic objectives of his loyalty and increase in customer base;
search for appropriated technologies and operational solutions, , aimed to protect the environment; commitment to prevent pollution, reducing the environmental impacts that arises of its activities; ; commitment to a responsible use of dangerous substances, optimization of water and energy resources; commitment to increase the separate collection of waste; raising awareness to environmental protection, aimed at ensuring that the relevant external operators can adopt operative criteria in line with TÜV Deutsch business processes;

commitment to injury prevention and occupational health problems; commitment to the involvement and consultation of workers, even though their representatives for workplace safety; acquisition, use and maintenance of equipment, devices and systems with an adequate level of safety;
commitment to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information as well as the regular business continuity;
commitment to provide human, economic and instrumental resources necessary to implement behaviors listed above and meet the objectives set.
TÜV Deutsch top management ensures that the Policy set out above is:
adequately documented, developed and updated;
communicated to all persons working on behalf of TÜV Deutsch to ensure awareness of their obligations; accessible to all stakeholders;
subject to periodic reviews to ensure that it remains valid and appropriate to the organization.
All TÜV Deutsch personnel, regardless of their location and responsibilities, are informed and they are required to adhere to the Policy for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety and Information Security here defined.
